Students – not all – say that recess and lunch break – and even dismissal time – are their favorite subjects. I don’t know why and how they call them “SUBJECTS” because they are REALLY NOT SUBJECTS – may I repeat? – NOT SUBJECTS! Anyway, I’ll tell you about my recess, lunch break and dismissal time when I was still young.

Recess and lunch break are the times when I had the opportunity to eat my snacks and me. I’ll admit, even during class hours I eat my snacks but only if there are no teachers supervising. I don’t want to get in detention you know. I always had my “baon” – many, I tell you – I eat them during recess & lunch break. But there are times that I don’t even bother eating them and I tend to throw them in the trash can because I am sometimes not in the mood to eat them.

Dismissal time! How I love dismissal time! It is when I can now rest after my exhausting journey. It is when I can chat with my friends. But sometimes I don’t like it because there are time that I am so much having fun but then I don’t have enough time and I tend to go home. I really love my dismissal time. It’s not that I don’t want to study or anything, but it gives me relief and takes away all of my stress. I and my schoolmates always play during this time. We run, jump, stumble, fumble, slip, and then suddenly cry.

Oh, my childhood days, how I miss them so much.
